I cut a couple of doe yesterday into tomahawks. My little girl had to make sure i did some of hers in cubed steak. I got 3 more hanging that I will get to this week. We had some good deer sirloin for supper last night. It was fantastic!

It's been fun!

When it comes to hunting and fishing, there is definitely plenty to do 12 months out of the year. Deer season closes today, that means it's time to hit the trout waters and the mountains for pigs.

Yessir! Made it through the year with plenty of catfish, trout, and saltwater fish. Time to start restocking in a couple weeks!

Man what a season. Never caught up to any of the big deer I had on camera, but boy did we have a good time. My wife wanted 10 deer this season and with the assistance of my little girl, we made it happen. I was fortunate enough to get on a few properties this year in different areas and hit...

I hunt the mountains a lot and I still remember the first animal I packed out. That was the day I determined I would never drag a dang deer again!

My wife had a busy day yesterday making a pile of homeade pasta for us. Man was it delicious for supper with them homeade sourdough rolls!!! I sure didn't mind tearing into it after butchering 7 chickens, 2 hogs, and 4 deer. Talk about a good day with good groceries.

No animals were harmed on today's adventure.

Fresh bird for supper last night. We culled 11 roosters and my wife fried us up a younger one for supper. It went mighty fine with mashed potatoes and biscuits with gravy.

I finally got some glass on this 700. I have shot or handled about everything out there and I have to say, the razor series is some seriously clear glass. Thank goodness for expertvoice and the 50% off vortex products. Can't wait to send some down range!
