Just had a mature funky rack 5x3 with a double brow work through. Looked like an older buck on the decline. Might try to get the kids on him. He was definitely seeking. Moved through at a good pace.

Pretty surprised to open my backpack and find that I forgot to throw my jacket and gloves in. Rookie mistake. Guess I was to excited to get out this morning.

Lots of movement last night. Saw a decent young 130s 10. He pushed a couple does around but mostly just fed through the field. Sitting a funnel on top of an oak flat. Some fresh rubs and scrapes. Nothing great on camera yet. First sit at this spot on the new property 🤞🏻. I can hear turkeys...

Quick hunt this morning. East wind allowed me to hunt one of my favorite funnels. Spike and a couple does. No deer harmed.

In the video it looks like he could have been carrying the bolt with him past that big tree. Good luck.

Well checked a camera that I had soaking since July. Found the camera lying on the ground. It was ripped off my mount. Figured it was a trespasser. Turns out this guy showed up and decided to rip it off the tree the day after I put the camera up. Rest of the pictures were of the tree tops.

My condolences. Great obituary. Sounds like quite the man.

Mostly Ohio and PA. West Virginia and Michigan on the occasion for grouse. Always wanted to get out west with my dogs but have not made that happen yet.

Congrats. Such a great feeling to have that behind ya. Being married with 2 kids when I went through grad school almost broke me. Don’t think I’ll be doing anything like that again.

Both girls start soccer next week. Looks like l’ll be my wife’s assistant coach (never played a day in my life). @bowhunter1023 gave me some courage with the addition of his 3rd daughter. Lol wife’s due February 14th.

Had them for years. My dad first got them when I was a kid after we watched where the red fern grows. Had a blast coon hunting with them. They can be good house dogs but the energy level is tough to manage indoors. They also have an oily coat that has a bit of a smell to it. They love to run and...

Currently waiting on Starlink in our area. Only other options would be satellite. We have two Verizon hot spots currently which work great but they slow down after we max out the data for the month.
