Just the bucks. I’m still not sold the first one was shot but my gut is telling me this one may have been due to the day of the shot then him dropping off the cams. If it was shot he was probably hit in the gut-bag due to as far as he went. And I doubt most poachers track much. The problem with that field is it is perfect to shoot from the road and had just been picked. So the deer were (and still are...) piling in there after dark.

If these deer are poached I’m surprised the CO lets you claim them on salvage permits. Here in Ohio I’m pretty sure if it’s confirmed as poached they get confiscated and destroyed

Neither were confirmed as poached. They did look over them for gunshot wounds but didn’t find any. No suprise on the last one, pretty ate up.

Oh, gotcha. Finding 3 in same area near view of road is very circumstantial. Glad you guys were able to get tags and do something with them to honor them in some way.
