Walked for 2 hours straight and all I found was this one tonight. Look close and you can see deer shit under it.

This is Buddha's second year of shed hunting. Last year he found 9. This year he has 4 dead heads, 11 sheds (4 matching sets). Plan on going out Friday if its just drizzling and not a thunderstorm. All found in Northeast Ohio.

Took some time away from work today and looked a bit.
It has warmed up out here the past couple days and some of the snow pack is melting. Basically on the south and west sides of open fields, but still lots of snow in the timber.
I got real lucky spotting the one that was mostly buried.
I hope to get out again Friday afternoon.

That’s a great day Larry! Congratulations 👍🏻

With the exception of my trip last year to IA my best day here in Ohio yielded 6 sheds found but that was hunting 5-6 properties scattered out. Lol

Just took a walk behind the house before dark. Haven't been back there for a month or so. Saw something that looked suspicious poking up out of the grass. Yep! Sure enough. Looks like it was there from last year. I've walked by this spot 20 times or more this fall. The grass is tall back there during the year. My best one of the year so far.

This was the second shed I found this year on 2/5.

I walked around for 10 more minutes and found its mate about 40 yards away amid some briars and brush. Both had just dropped and had blood on pedicles.

PB has been very difficult to download pics on nowadays. I have this buck on video hitting a scrape about 3 miles away from where I picked these up. If I ever am able to download the video I’ll post it here.

Here is another shed I found on same day but it had no blood and it had a few small chews on it as well and was on a farm a mile further away from the farm I hunt. The g2 is 10.25” long and the beam has really tight curl.

That’s a biggun Chad! Can you share a pic with something like a cap or beer can beside it for size reference?👍🏻
