It wasn’t a total domination, but I am happy with what I seen. It was a good show of how the defense on both sides could adapt forcing the offense to adapt. We simply adapted faster, which I expect from this kind of talent.

Now if we could send someone over to Penn State to take the play book Urban gave them...

Looks like we were directly across from each other! Like you not the best seats but what an experience sitting in the student section with my daughter! It’s was awesome chanting along with everyone the, “WE DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE WHOLE STATE OF MICHIGAN, THE WHOLE STATE OF MICHIGAN, WHOLE STATE OF MICHIGAN,(repeat first line then...)WE’RE FROM OH I O, repeat 30 times as loud as you can as we left our seats,descending the stairs and out of the gates...

Played a pretty good D last night that was pretty stout in the early going but once we got going and figured things out we got it rolling. I hope we didn’t get dinged up too bad with any injuries and we study film and get rested up till the Friday night prime time game in a few weeks against NW.

pretty sloppy if you asked me, but a convincing win despite all the fucking penalties, turnovers and inability to capitalize on two turnovers early. 3 points off of those two fumbles early ain't gonna cut it. Justin Fields got a little humble pie yesterday, and will be better because of it next week. Is MSU run defense that overrated or is our O-line/running game that good? either way, J.K. Dobbins is running angrier than any OSU tailback I can remember. love it. gotta give Sparty their props; they slowed us down - a little. more questions than answers this week. I may have spoken too soon...

Yeah Jamie, I think the play calling early was a little conservative and when we started throwing the rock “down” field versus wide and running between the tackles every other play the D loosened up some for us TO run the ball more effectively.
Definitely squandered two scoring opportunities early and the penalties were ridiculous! Lots of unnecessary chattering and taunting from our youth and holding calls. I hope those get resolved and our players can learn from it.

I don't know what I learned watching the game. Caught about 70-80% of the game between homecoming activities for the kids. Horribly slow start. Are better teams taking notes on what worked well for MSU in first quarter? You bet they are. Will the Buckeyes learn from it? I'd like to think so.

Outside the second quarter, our defense kept points off the board. Downside being: outside the second quarter MSU defense kept quite a few points off the board. I don't know. Just looking at stats doesn't tell the story. I think MSU is pretty good. I don't think they are great by any means. Top 25 team? Probably, but not by much. They aren't a top 10-15 team. I think Wisconsin is still going to be the battle which determines our fate. A convincing victory is going to be required for many to believe. Kinda crazy because 34-10 is a convincing win any other day of the week. Just didn't feel like it against MSU. Up until MSU the Buckeyes were able to do as they wish with all the other teams.

What are you guys concerned about? You blasted a top 25 team by 4 scores. Bama, Clemson, ND, Georgia, all of them have had alot of great teams that couldn't finish. Only one team wins it all. Sans Alabama, nobody has thoroughly destroyed everyone they've played so far like OSU. You guys are ridiculous, haha

I gotta side with ryan. I’m very happy to see what we have going this year and I’m not going to waste the good times with what ifs. They’re still kids and college is about making mistakes and overcoming those mistakes.
