I don’t need the big government making a plan for everyone. Some areas aren’t hit yet and others are in the middle of it. You can’t treat the entire nation like NY right now. The same as you can’t treat NY like an area unaffected. Same argument TOO has had against the ODNR since TOO has been around.
Well wtf thats what were in a reactive deal - still 11 states that are not social distancing - Minn going ahead with its primary election - shortage of supplies - testing messed up - and etc. - need to stop looking at this thru political eyes and have a national stragety - - - - pray that you and the girls stay safe

I'm retired, but work for a pool company during the summer to pay for my hunting, fishing etc... I'm going to compare this virus to some of the pools we encounter... Some pools are closed for several years and never opened... Well when they do open it the water is black, filthy... So I'll tell the customer I'm going to throw roughly 20 bags of shock in to clear it up... Naturally they inquire about the cost and say... Just throw in 2 or 3 bags... I used to say: Your wasting your money as that won't do shit... But I give up and stopped... It's their money... This might go on for several weeks and they still have an unusable pool that's green... Now they are up to numerous visits (get billed for an hour labor each visit) are now into tons of money in chemicals... In the end if they would have let me NUKE the pool they would have nipped it in the bud and been swimming...
This virus is similar... We have to wipe it out once and for all... With numerous states still open for business we will never nip this in the bud... These govenors gotta pull their heads out of their asses and curtail the spread of this shit... But hey... This is just like the flu and it's going to go away... Living where I live so close to NYC gives you a different perspective on this shit... Hospitals are turning people away, people that are healthy are dieing... Hopefully you guys don't get to see this close up... A line should have been drawn in the sand when this first surfaced in China... But once again it was just compared to the flu...

I read today where the backlash from hunters from this that they are gonna allow residents to hunt but no nonresidents,i am sure the guys that paid big money will get to hunt next season or after.
Yup, the update to that order is inside the link. It’s open for residents only. That’s a lot of meat that some of those people rely on. Plus the restricted travel Alaska has in place is pretty extensive making the meat needed more than normal. We have it pretty good here in Ohio still.
Many of them are. It will take quite some time for the numbers to “normalize”. Many small businesses will shut down. And many unemployed will not be returning back to their same jobs because they won’t be there. They aren’t there now. Demand will have to be there first.
Sorry @Fletch . I know I am in the minority on this forum, but I don't believe we should have shut down half of what we have. What we should have done is ramp up production of HCQ/Zpack and made that available as a prophylactic. Cancel the sporting events and large gatherings of people. Then quarantine the most at risk: Those who are older than 60 and those who have pre-existing conditions. Let the rest of the population develop herd immunity.
Viruses and pandemics are nothing new. They have happened for as long as there have been people around to carry them. This hysteria is unfounded and unnecessary. Less than 1% of the people infected will die. I will take those odds all day long and twice on Sunday. Mark my words...the upcoming economic collapse will kill many more people than this virus ever will.

This has been my feelings from the start, I'll take my chances on not being in the 1%, good lord will take me and others when he wants anyways, but at the same time Im following all of the protocols such as social distancing, etc.

Dang 20 % of the cases in Ohio are health care workers - don't have words - prayers - makes worrying about hunting insignificent the people who need to hunt for food - do it
