2019-nCoV (Coronavirus)

Yea he will be fine, just messed up his plans, I am glad he has a plan. He was worried he would have to miss 2 semesters of college and will have to reapply. I told him it would work out.
I’m sure with being in the military away for training and in the midst of Covid, schools are being more understanding of situations.

Since May, I've been shaking hands and having in-person meetings like a "normal" person. There's a team I work with that's been virtual since March and is mandated to wear masks by their employer. They have had 3 people get it. I only know of 1 person in my business network to get it. Anecdotal, but clearly shows staying home and masking up doesn't work on a micro-level in my world.

My wife got the vaccine yesterday. Said she felt hot for awhile. All was well. She woke up at 2:30 this morning sick. She is currently curled up in the fecal position next to the radiator freezing with a vomit bowl next to her. Swears she isn't getting the 2nd round of shot

Ryan- I'm not sure I've heard it called this before. Does this mean she looked like shit?

Chuck- I'm sorry to read of your loss.

My wife was home n bed for the past 4 days. She just blew out a candle. Put her head directly in the smoke and can't smell it. She freaked out a bit. Can't taste anything either.

Was just thinking about this, how is your wife feeling??

I took a bottle of apple cider vinegar to my wife she sniffed it like a coke head as hard as she could and took a shot with 0 affect. Her senses r gone. Ultimate test.....Going to pound 3 beers and see if the bloodhound is truly nose blind....

My wife's sense of taste and smell returned after a few days, had a few really bad coughing fits that took her breath away but that was about it. Though she was easily winded/tired for at least a week. Pretty much back to normal at my house. Kids recently went through a bad GI bug though, finally got over that today.

I was the only person in my house with the whole Covid thing that didn't have ANY symptoms. I have a few ideas on that.
1.) I'm blood type O+, one of the types that "supposedly" gets the weakest symptoms.
2.) I was 10 days out on my first dose of the Moderna vaccine when my son tested positive. Per the research I had around a 50% chance of having a strong enough immune response built up to fight it off.

But........
My cousin (an ICU nurse in CO) got Covid around the holidays. She got bad enough that they took her to the ER one night because she couldn't catch her breath. Her kids both got symptoms also so she assumed the whole house had gotten it. Low and behold last week her husband gets symptoms and gets tested and is finally positive. They share a bed every night and somehow he didn't catch it initially. This is one strange virus.
