Did a tele-visit with my mom’s dr today, he wants to get her checked for pneumonia, the only way to do that is to go to the ER, we both took covid tests yesterday and they were negative. Transported her by ambulance because she is weak and I didn’t want us dropping her trying to transfer her to the car. Got to the ER, guy that took my info said it was a 19 hour wait.

I have to wait in the car, there has to be a better way. Now she gets to sit around people that are known to be covid positive.

I had to go back in because I couldn't keep my oxygen level up and was in the same boat. I pretty much lost my shit completely. Wife ended up walking away thinking I was going to jail. I was ready to end some lives that day. Bad place to be mentally.

Hell…my mom fell BEFORE the pandemic and had to have stitches and checked for a concussion….was in the ER 8 hours. The system is broken by a bunch of fuck ups who treat the ER like their free personal physician cause they can’t pay and won’t be turned away.

Or they lack the whole triage ability….

The sad thing to me is trying to get folks to live! I see people here walking outside with nobody near them and they have a mask on and if they touch the button at the crosswalk they sanitize themselves... People driving alone in their cars with windows up and masks on... Kids in the neighborhood shooting hoops by themselves with a mask on... Then I see another extreme, people with zero concern for anyone but themselves!

I feel as if the world has gone sane and I'm the crazy one!

I made it to 2022, but I ain't having much fun so far. Struggle is still very real and will be for a few more weeks. I was somewhat active yesterday with a funeral and after party. Really thought I was making good progress. That all went away as I've gone backwards. Today is a real struggle again. Even getting up to take a piss is a real chore. Never in my life have I felt this kind of draw on my body. Stay safe friends and if you have this shit, don't push it!
