Well my earlier statement maybe wrong, seen a 120" running up road an hour ago, very unusual spot and across yards. Maybe something is still going on 👍

I finally had a good day hunting. I got pinned down at 7:01-8:30 with does and bucks chasing and fighting. In all, I saw 5 different bucks and 7 antlerless today. At 10:15 I missed a big ten low at 35 yards (trail cam pic). 15 minutes later my buddy Scott shoots this smaller 10 (hanging). We were about 150 yards apart splitting a ravine that was hosting some

Allen County I saw two mature bucks cruising. One on a highly travelled road at 1130am. The other in daylight on my evening hunt. First one was alone and walking briskly. Second one came out, checked a doe, bedded. Later got up and made his rounds. He pushed 7 does total into the field but I never saw him again. I'd say the majority or out of lock down. Starting to cruise again. At least in my area. Got a 3 minute video sent to me from Dublin Ohio yesterday. Intense fight in a backyard of a couple big boys. Daylight hours.

Second half of November there are more mature bucks put in the record books than first half (according to MRex previous post). He would know he sees a lot of scored deer and book entries. I haven't seen many mature bucks this year. Yesterday I saw two. Time to hunt hard if you haven't filled a buck tag yet.

Yesterday I spent my morning pinned down with hot does and bucks Continuously. Today I got totally skunked. No hot does in my ravine today. PA bear gun next weekend then PA/Ohio gun season. I really dislike seasoning my buck tags into gun season. I’d prefer to be a couch player by now.

Watching alot of fawns being chased all over hell mainly by little guys. Some nice bucks still out on the prowl but seem to be getting back to safe havens.

Seen a decent one Thursday chasing a doe. These ruts are getting stranger and stranger every year. I would have bet big money the first cycle it was over weeks ago. Don't know any more

A week late but for two days on 11/22 and 11/23 every photo I had of a doe had a 2.5-4.5 YO buck behind it. Stark Co.

Dam... Those are some nice bucks . must have good buck\ doe ratio to have them fighting in secondary.
There is a good mix. We had several good ones around already but those 2 bigger ones are new to me, that heavy horned dude was nice to see. Got my son real excited anyways 😂

From my recent camera reviews: Dec 7 & Dec 13 had mature bucks dogging does in daylight. With non gun hunting neighbors (40 acres clear cut) it has created a haven.

For sake of argument because I do both...

What’s the difference between a month of bowhunting and a week of gun hunting?

In my area it’s usually a free for all during gun week. Of drives and trespassing etc. it’s gotten better but it still happens. A lot of folks gun hunt that don’t take patient tactical bow hunts all fall. Sometimes big ones get jumped and killed, others hide in the safe havens.
