Skunked. Does wrre filtering around at last light, but only my cams saw them. Phone is like a pin ball machine now. Deer r moving everywhere, including a decent buck.

Got out of the blind around 1:00pm and moved about 300 yards and sat on the ground. Had a good view around me. Damn robins were out in full force digging in the leaves…sounded like a herd of deer coming through. Bastards kept it up until about a half hour before dark. Didn’t see a deer all day! Try again tomorrow.

Saw over a dozen deer today all antlerless 8 or more were fawns. Didnt sit for the evening as the woods i was in was all walked by 3:45. All my other permission was pushed before 2pm. It will all be repeated again wednesday some spots tomorrow and then again friday saturday and sunday. i dont know why i think stuff will be different every year....just wishful thinking.

There is a story of a shotgun that may or may not have been cursed. Forgive me as I don't recall all the details, but it seems like he could have placed it on his foot, squeezed the trigger, and missed. Sorry Dave. I just remember portions of that gun story.

Saw 13 today, 4 bucks but no shooters..did check cam and had this guy in daylight 2 days ago..he may get shot if given a good opportunity. Back at it in morning.
