Asked permission to hunt a neighboring property to where I hunt. Owners didn't care. I did a quick walk around the perimeter of the woods. Then another quick walk 20-30yds inside the woods edge. Nothing. May try again over the weekend.
Found #14, an old chewed up year old right side from an old 7 pt that frequented our farm this past year pretty much. I kept this one just because it was found on our farm.
Thanks Ric. It was crazy to watch it turn green today. After the card check. It looks like half of the bucks are still holding in my area. Also looking Iike the last weekend before it just greens up to much.
Looks like you should've been able to see that one from space a couple of years ago.
Figured I would go ahead and post my final tally, really just focused my efforts around the house this year. I have 4 or 5 big farms that I usually walk that I didn’t touch this year. I wasn’t going to use the old chewed up shed but that will make it an even 10 haha, Jake bought some new property and we were out there riding and I picked it up when I wasn’t really looking in January. I think my dog ran off with it because I have no idea where it is now.
I was looking through some of Taylor’s old shed threads the other night and came across this old pic. We use to cover a lot of freaking ground back then.

Tomorrow will more than likely be my last real hard day of shed hunting. Some rain and overcast in the forecast. Hopefully I can match up some of the bucks I have found sides to
A kid who could walk 8 miles a day after work and not think twice about doing it again the next day
.Found my first ever roadie match today, not really looking anymore but it just happened to catch my eye.
