Couldn't believe i missed till I saw the cut, no idea where it went after hitting the blind. Big Tom

FFS, 10yd shot. Well gonna have a cuppa joe and settle....

The worst part is that cut will be whispering at me for as long as I use this blind....

Same bird I was on yesterday. Had him strutting at 100-60 forever, gobbling his fool head off. Two guys walked in a spooked him off. No idea where he is now but I’m enjoying the warm sunshine hoping to fire him back up.

Went to a different spot this morning...no luck so came back to my place. The birds haven’t been showing up until after 9:00am the past two days. Got set up at 8:15 and had him on the ground by 8:45. He came in with another tom but because of the hillside, I couldn’t see them until they were about 20 yards away....all I had was a head shot and he dropped in his tracks. My buddy witnessed the whole thing from across the field. Now to get him one!

I have two holes in my blind from shooting arrows at one bird last spring. I couldn't figure out where the hell my arrows were going! Then I saw the holes. Damn bird kept hanging around. My third shot whizzed right by his head. LOL! I was out of arrows so I just took video of him banging my decoy.

3 straight 0400 wake ups, 7.5 miles walked, one unplanned early morning interaction with a county sheriffs deputy, no shots fired and I can’t think of a better way to spend 3 days. I’m all in on the Saturday opener. Wish it was a week earlier but I’ll take it. When the weather cooperates, nothing beats spring turkey season for me. Back to reality tomorrow
