2022 SHROOMS

I let dry for a day on the counter after washing, then into a 25lb meat lug with a lid and into refrigerator. I have kept them quite fresh like that for 10 days before they started to get soft and brown on the edges. When they get to that point I will can them immediately as the go downhill fast from their. I can eat a pound a day. 😁

Just dehydrated and dry canned my last haul. Should be good for years to come

If you have never canned them, I would suggest you give it a try. It is the best way to preserve them, imo.
Just didn't have time this weekend. Already had the dehydrater loaded with tomatoes so I throwed what few I had left in there. Pressure canning is by far the way to go with about anything! We will be canning just about all of our deer meat this year.
