2024' berries

Birds, and presumably deer, eat them as fast they get ripe at my place. I was hoping to get enough on Wednesday to make a cobble, but only unripe ones to be found. I'd really have to fight for them to get enough freeze or make jelly.

Buddy, you want to pick berries let me know. Blackberries are coming on now. I have tractor paths lined with vines for easy picking...

"Just one more pick..." 🤣🤣🤣
5 c black and 2 c yellows.

I read somewhere that birds don't like mint. Supposedly, If you spray your berry bushes with a mint/water solution it will at least give you a chance to harvest some. Then rinse the mint off and use normally. Of course that could just be bullshit. Ive never tried it. I have a hard enough time finding berry bushes to begin with. lol.
