Over all the years of shed hunting I've estimated it is about 3 miles of walking per shed found if averaged out.

I’d love that percentage Chad! I’ve walked 20-40 miles between sheds many times in my areas. I do tend to start walking early for my area and I don’t have as many bucks running on the farms I walk cuz there’s little food and lots of hunting pressure. I’m just glad to have places I can walk and get exercise. If I did have property all to myself and I could ride my four wheeler on it I’d definitely pile up the corn and minerals in some security to draw cuz that’s the winning strategy to finding sheds and hunting deer anymore.
Walked another 3.6 miles today. Primo ground. Bumped 2 deer. Found zero sheds. Saw 5 dead deer. One or sometimes two would be normal in the spring in this property. Good bit concerning.
Yesterday I walked another property. Zero sheds found. One dead buck. He had already shed. Pedicals between a quarter and 50 cent piece in size. Local farmer drove the property next to it Sunday. Said there were tire tracks from another SxS in there already.

My shed finds have dropped dramatically since baiting become popular. Just like with hunting, the deer really don't have to move naturally like they use to. I've yet to find a fresh one this year, in part because they are mostly still on their heads.

No sheds here either. But these guys moved into the woods where I was looking and I didn't want to bump them so I cut my hunt short. I'm pretty pumped about my new turkey spot so far!

After thinking about it, I think the last time I actively went turkey hunting was with Martin. Crazy, do you remember what year that was? 4 or 5 years ago? Called that Tom in from 600 yards for that hunter to cut him off and shoot him.

Yes it was four or five years ago. Man time flies bye! late in the season public land bird on a Saturday 
I don't think I ever told anyone here I went. I was gonna melt the place by posting a pic of me with a dead bird
I walked the dogs around the pond today as I do every day.

Found two today on my 15.8K walk today both being found on a farm I walked on 2/20. The bigger one had canine teeth marks on practically every square inch of it. Definitely didn’t fall off the deer where I found it.
