On top of permethrin, I wear compression tights and a shirt u can find them really cheap on Amazon.I think spring turkey season is the most beautiful time to be in Ohio’s woods. The big downside for me is ticks, I have had many health issues over the years and hearing what others that had Lyme disease deal with years later has kept me out of the woods for the last few years. Even though I spray down with permathrin I feel like a have a tick crawling on me for days after an outing.
Me too. I wear the tight Under Armour. On top of permethrin, I wear compression tights and a shirt u can find them really cheap on Amazon.
That area you pulled all those BB's out of holds birds. I could about promise you have encounters. The people in that area love turkeys more than deer. This year may be a little different for turkeys for me. I had “spare” time to burn so I’m off the first week of season and the last week. A buddy and I are planning our first southern OH public land turkey hunt. Not sure what days we’re going yet or really where lol
I’m not sure where you hunt and I’m not saying where I hunt but I see plenty of turkey.Used to be my favorite hunt but between the mismanagement, and the predators it's hard to think about killing what's left. I do my part in the control side of things, but damn the mismanagement
