I have been waiting to jump in on the straight wall thing. Been eyeing the .450 bm but this round may be the one that i cave to...lol

I don’t even hunt anymore and I am going to purchase one of the heavy barrel thumb hole stock bolt action rifles when they become available.

It may be an entire year before the supply catches up with the demand.
I think it's going to be a good cartridge, but I also think it's going to be a 450 Bushmaster (12 gauge) VS. 350 Legend (20 gauge) choice.
I like the flat shooting and lower recoil, but I'll take the increased power and deal with the trajectory of the 450 Bushmaster.
I know a guy in southern Ohio that has the Ruger American in 450 Bushmaster that has it sighted in at 1" high at 100 yards and it hits 3" low at 200 yards. Personally, I've never shot a deer past 60 yards, so the distance isn't an issue for me.

Shot my friend's new 350 AR build the other day. Bear Creek Arsenal 350 legend upper. It's a damn laserbeam and has very little recoil. It'll take off in popularity just like 450
