I am happy with accuracy and power. I just think there is room for improvement. Improvement i could make. Like me shooting a vertical bow, sure i can do it, but I'm better with a crossbow. Sure this gun works as is, but I can make it better with a bullet change.

Terminal energy. Rifle bullets are small diameter. Most 30. Caliber are .308 in diameter. Like 30-06 and 300 Winchester magnum. Then look at the .25 calibers like the 25-06. That's a pin hole practically. Rifle bullets are ment to dump there energy once they enter the animal. Like personal defense pistol rounds do on people.

So my "complaint" here is that I had a pass thru shot with the same size hole on both sides. 40 caliber hole on both entrance and exit.

That's the problem. That round has more than 2000 pounds of energy and all its doing is making a hole. Now if it went through one side then expanded enough to dump a ton of energy with almost no exit you wouldn't need a blood trail.

Dave... You said it earlier.... " Bullet Change "... Perhaps do some research on the construction of the bullet you were using... Pass throughs are great but the bullet should mushroom inside to destroy organs thus causing a quick death...

I could let Dave use my 10 gauge with 3 1/2 inch shells. Talk about knock down power.
