Quiet morning. A storm rolled in the day before yesterday so that may have something to do with it. 1.5 days left.
I did go back and get that small limb that cost me the bedded bull yesterday.

Got this pic from a friend who is hunting New Mexico... He shot it this week... He said they found 4 cows and a huge bull that were killed by mountain lions...All this talk about elk is going to have me looking into going next year... It will have to be a state that has over the counter bull tags... Have no desire to shoot a cow...
My buddy who I visited this last winter who lives in Arizona scored on this bull last week in a zone just below where Joe is hunting....

Trying a little smi urban Esker style hunting tonight. The elk have everything they need. Green gras, water, and yuppies that like to watch them and probably have feeders and minerals out.

Started pouring this morning at 3:am and didn't let up till 11. After the rain we decided to just break camp.
The ole sick liter got stuck and i had to hook up the 7.3.
The road out of the woods for a half mile was basketball sized rocks and mud so you just gotta go. The Ohio cancer hitch gave way coming up the hill.
Got to Jims brothers house and cut it off. We have a spare receiver tube with a long bolt to mount through the bumper hole
