As my wife says...Gun Porn!

sumbudy left a pistol on a stump...man, why can't I ever find something like that when I'm in the woods?

Great pic Jamesy! :smiley_coolpeace:

I "bubba'd up" my new Mosin Nagant 91/30 with a muzzle brake, tactical rail and LER scope...guess I should maybe take a picture.... :smiley_chinrub::smiley_depressive:

Shhh nobody post, maybe he'll put some more on there!

In my blissful ignorance, I'm going to guess .44 mag?

Ruger Red-hawk 44 mag with a Leupold X2 scope. After market rosewood grips and a speed loader of 300 gr.Hornady JHP.
She likes walks in the woods. Slightly overcast fall days and her favorite color is Camo.

Although featured in the earlier pages of our beloved "Gun Porn" thread, I have to say she has aged quite well.

Interesting - both are models I'm considering for purchase - gmta

I went that day with all intentions of buying the LC9 and a .45 XDM or XDS. Didn't have the XD I wanted, so I chose the used SR40. Gander also had a sweet used 1911 .45 cal....I should have bought it too.

Yeah, at $100 ea plus cheap surplus ammo, the Mosin Nagant 91/30 is an inexpensive way to get into the big-bore rifle game.
Plus it's fun learning about 'em and gettin' 'em in shape, holding history in your hands.

That is pretty sweet Dan! My buddy just bought a Mosin Nagant recently and we shot it some over the weekend. He was talking about mounting a scope on his, but wasn't real sure how he wanted to do it. How do you like the rear sight mount for it?

Well, I ended up taking all my sling money (thanks again fellas) and buying myself a TC Encore. It is used, but I feel like I got a heck of a deal on it, and it is super clean. Other than a small scratch on the barrel, this gun looks brand new. Just need to decide on a scope for it. I've been looking at the Nikon and Leupold scopes with the BDC reticle, but just not sure if I would use it much with a muzzy. Any recommendations? I think my first rifle barrel for it will probably be a .243 for coyotes and groundhogs.

That is a beaut Greg! Happy for you. That will bring many years of memories with every outing you use it on!

Nice!
Which grip do you like best?

I like the look and feel of the wood grip. The thinner rubber grip has it's advantages in the accuracy department (probably because I'm not worried about scratching it.....lol....)
I've pointed this at a deer twice.......They both wanted to come home with me. :smiley_clap:

Very Nice Gun Greg! You will enjoy that purchase for years to come!
