Earlier this summer I found this Ruger No.1A in .257 Roberts. The model is K1A, stainless and walnut. Ruger made the K1A in 7.62x39, .250 Savage, .257 Roberts, 6.5x55, and .35 Whelen, only 250-300 in each chambering.

Thats a nice no. 1 sam. 257 bob is a great cartridge too. What's the gloss scope on the other rifle an old Redfield?

It appears they only thing that have in limited numbers is the M1 Grand. In order to buy you must be a member of a CMP registered gun club or association.

What is it Mike? Looks like a S&W Airweight Model 642 but I see markings only up on the barrel and the grip looks different to tell me otherwise. Ruger? Taurus?

Very nice. Sure did look like the frame of a Smith&Wesson. I just hadn't seen one naked of their emblem. If seen, I never noticed. I really like my 642. Great choice Mike.
Emblem is on the other side. I really like it. Shoots great and goes bang every time.

I bet the .357 are a bear....my bad , caught the 2. The 640 is the .357. I will eventually purchase a 642 to go with my 442. One for each car, room, whatever. Not a fan of pocket carrying in jeans with them but I have a few different waist options.
