As my wife says...Gun Porn!

Wow someone put a Vari-X 3on a .22???? Now that's hard core ....

There are always those that think they have to have the best of the best. Personally I accept the gun and scope mentioned will out perform my personal abilities.

I will have to look now that you mention it though J. Maybe the VX3 was already mounted on the 243 I bought in the deal. The one I took off the 22 might not be a VX3. Now I am wondering myself. There were over a dozen guns in the purchase. I ended up keeping 3 of them and the scope. Basically had next to nothing in the three by the time I was done. I could have mixed up which scope was on the 22. Even so, a VX1 would still be a pretty nice scope to own for $10. lol

I agree 100%

Ha ha ha. Sorry beener, I knew I would find a gun for the scope sooner or later. On a similar note, good friend tells me yesterday he is selling a few pieces to include a 22-250. Where was he last week? Doh. Oh well, I got a fair price on mine.

Alright, dug up some pictures...

So...there are a lot of good guns still out there I am sure! We can't let this thread die!

Come on guys, brush off the dust and clean out the safes, we need to see some more guns!

Alright. I haven't seen anything on here for a bit so I will post my new toys I just got this week.

I just need to find my scope rings I want to get the .22 finished off. I can't seem to find the see through style 3/8" that will hold a 1" tube anywhere around here. I have checked Sportsman's Den, and all the Wal-Mart's around here. Fin Feather and Fur has their website down and I'm not driving an hour to find out they don't have them lol. I will find them sooner or later lol.

Looks like the same .223 you used to have!

It's the same model but I sold my old one to buy that trailer off Milo. The old one was a good shooter but it came with a 3-9x40 Bushnell scope and I didn't want to go that route again lol. I got this model W/O the scope and purchased my own lol. The 6-18 might be overkill but I'm the type person that wants to see the flea on that yote waving at 100 yards lmao.

Joe,

My problem is...I don't have a CC or debit card nor do I have pay-pal. Call me old school but I have this thing where " If I can't pay cash for it..I don't need it that bad " Although I have in the past given cash to cover the order and had somebody else use a CC to place the order for me lol.

CJD,
I thought the stock on the marlin was pretty cool looking. My buddy had it sitting in his store and it was in the price range I was looking for lol.
That flooring, is reclaimed laminate click flooring out of my old boyhood house. My mom sold the house to some people that just wanted the property so we salvaged just about everything out of it before it was torn down. I had to rebuild and re-arrange my kitchen to salvage the new cabinets and counter tops she had just put in the house a year before she sold it lol.

Been wanting one of Ithaca's new .28 gauges. A friend called the other day, he needed money quick and offered me his at a price too good to pass up.

It's an "A" grade with "AAA' wood. 28 inch barrel, choke tubes, the box and papers. SN puts it at the 280th one made.
