As my wife says...Gun Porn!

Busy and crap weather. I have posted them but incognito. I will update this with some once I get some range time. Just hard this time of year. I also have AR'S that I assembled to post also.

You must have an awesome wife.

I do but I don't use family money for any hobby. I hustle. The hustle is also another hobby. I have never taken money from our income to purchase anything shooting. Hunting also pretty much. Buy/sell, trade, build, etc gets me there. I sold an AR I built in the same time frame as buying these 4. Plus, one was pretty cheap.

It also helps that I am known to be the guy that likes and buys guns. People know someone needing cash and I always keep some handy. Not always, or enough but works out most of the time.

I shopped, and shopped and shopped. Finally found what I wanted on GunBroker. I have purchased 4 firearms from GB in the last 3 weeks. lol

98-99% of the stuff on the auction sites is over priced when you factor in everything. However if you are patient there are some very good deals.

Most of the time I can find it cheaper on Grabagun.com or the like. I set a price and don't go above it. On mass produced stuff it works.

Also, the way my Savage was so cheap...I checked for listings with Creedmoor spelled Creedmore. I got it for almost $100 less than they were running (won with opening bid). Transfers cost me $20 and it saved me $75 in tax. Sometimes it works. Most times it doesn't. We are pretty lucky in Ohio of having competitive pricing.

Collection type firearms go for outrageous amounts.

Colt revolvers
Smith no locks
22 trainers

All are supremely hot on there right now.

Yes, misspellings, wrong model designations, and listing in the wrong categories really helps. Items from new sellers too, that's risky but has worked for me.

I just fired a couple shots to check function. Need to get a scope mounted and play with it. Pistons have a reputation of being less accurate, the advantage is they don't blow gas(and dirt) into the action.

I think Phil has a Ruger with a piston as well.... Never shot one with the piston and was curious lol
