I appreciate all the kinds words and congratulatory notes. Killing a big buck is great, but if you couldn't share it with anyone, it's not nearly as memorable. There are people in my local circle that "get it", but not like this group. One of the locals that does get it sent these to me yesterday. We share information fairly regularly, although, he played it pretty tight to the vest with this buck. We both admitted he was the best we had on cam, with me hunting the N side of the road, and him the S. Cleary, Lunchbox spent most of his time on the otherside of the road. IMO, lack of pressure and availability of does brought him over. It also helped that there was no clear dominant buck, so it was an easy title for him to take over. I'm thankful he shared these pics with me as it just adds to the story!
