my bil is the travelling secretary for the tampa bay rays, he is hoping they hold on to the wild card slot. big money in the playoffs.

Hamilton is the best thing happening for the Reds right now and Cueto coming back at a good time will hopefully mean good things for the Reds.
The Padres, of a teams, have owned the Pirates at PNC. The Bucs finally got back on track yesterday.

Speaking of coaching....
After speaking with our commish most recently my son will be graduating from the Tball league one year early.
He will be entering coach pitch to play with 6-8 year olds next Spring. It should be more challenging for him and bring out his best game.
I will either be head coach or an assistant. Our spots are already reserved.
In terms of football....my son is now starting both on offensive and defense. OT and DE. I'm proud of my Kindergarten kid playing with 1st and 2nd graders. He holds his own. We are 0-3 now (with improvement every week) with a Saturday night light game (8pm) this weekend. It should be a great time for our little men.

I'd trade for the Pirates manager any day . That guy is definitely in it to win it. His getting tossed is a classic at this stage of the season.
That game sucked! I just wish starters were left in when they are cruising. When did this unwritten rule to use closers every game home about?

Went well. Interviewed with the new AD and new Vice-Principal. The new AD is on my side and the new VP is a baseball guy. I could tell I was nailing his questions, so I really can't see how the other two guys would beat me out knowing them. But you never know. I should find out next week.
