I got 4 more out today on my new property. I needed this snow and cold weather, only a matter of time now

I'm a little late to the game, but I got an order coming from the Snare Shop. Coyotes are running wild at the farm right now. If I can't catch one, I suck! LOL

Just look at some of the sets i posted Jesse and you will be fine.Try not to have any limbs hanging over the top of your snare this will help prevent deer catches.
Also i like the bottom of my snares around 8 inches from the ground.Good luck!
Havn't seen a yote track on the farm since friday,going to start pulling them up friday but leave a couple beaver sets out.
I think i have put a huge dent on the yote population the last several yrs,getting hard to find a yote track.
Went to the big farm today and saw several yote tracks there so put 3 sets in and will put 3 more in tomorrow and leave them for 2 more weeks and then finish up,my grand total right now is 122 but would like to hit 125 if any pass through.
Getting about time to get serious about shed hunting.

Caught this scroungy looking male today.
He had a bad attitude and i believe would have tried to bite if given the chance.
My buddy Dale went to his brothers down by Portsmouth today to put some sets out for a couple weeks.
I hope i taught him well as he should catch some down there.
He should do just fine.

Yes he did Dick,amazing how some are diggers and just tear the area up,this one had a bad attitude and would have bit me if given the chance.
Got the last few snares pulled up yesterday.
Another season in the bag,a little shorter this yr but in the last week have seen 0 tracks after catching the last one.
I notice each year getting better and better on not seeing very much yote sign.
When i first started their were more yote tracks than deer and now i am seeing the results each Spring with lots of fawns surviving.
Was also fun catching the 5 beaver and a couple mink this season and taking several people out to try and teach them how to snare.
Had fun taking a young kid Josh out and see him get excited when we caught one,also taking my 62 yr old buddy Dale along and watch him take it all in.
Also had my buddy Joe up one day to show him and he said he was really over thinking it after watching me set one.
I do believe he got a little excited after holding that 96 inch shed.lol kinda like Ric and Ron.lol
Well till next season and hope to add to my grand total of 123 dead yotes.
