Caught a pretty colored male today he weighed 38 lbs.Nice and cool ride checking them today.
Third pick down behind and to the left i have another snare set was hoping for a double.
Seems like just having a few snares set is working out ok.
They should get started moving more with the cold weather and breeding season starting up.
Hard to believe there are so many in the area. You guys must be covered up in them. Wonder how bad the deer population would be for you if you hadn't been snaring them? Crazy to think about.
No yotes today and didnt see any fresh tracks in the snow.
Brock not sure i will ever run out but would go after yours if ya lived closer.lol
Phil i believe everyone has this many yotes we just dont see them.Sometimes i think their are more yotes than deer in the state and i would hate to see what it would be like in my area if i didnt keep after them each year.
A couple of years ago, someone in this forum (their son...can't remember who as I just lurked back then) had to get rabies' shots due to a stray dog bite. Guess I was just wondering if something did happen, if you would test the coyote or go straight for the shots.
Yea, hopefully, something you'll never have to figure out!
Have not seen a one yote track on the farm since i caught that one Monday. Not a bad thing but damn was it cold out there checking snares this morning.
Was warm except for my fingers riding the quad forgot my handwarmers.lol
There must be more yotes around than I think there are. You have proved that to be the case where you are for sure. I occasionally get one on my cameras, but maybe there are more around than I realize.
