Caught this male this morning and he was very aggressive growling, barking and howling. He put on a good show and had really nice fur and neat color so I will get this one tanned. One more to go and that will make # 70 I have snared the last 5 years. That is 16 this year plus one bow kill makes 17.My best season so far. That's the fourth one on my bowhunting farm since I set them last week. That is 14 males and 4 female so far. Just going to concentrate on this farm till I finish up and pull them all.

Can't.believe how nice his fur is. No rub at all. Are there not many fences in that area? The last one I caught was rubbed all to hell

Just old fencing.Lots of creeks and old fencerows and treelines hedgerows and weedfields.Really have had only 4 rubbed ones so far.

Ha ha he does look like he does.He also had been fighting as he had puncture marks and a couple wounds on his legs and chest.Would have made a good mount but already have two mounted so will look nice tanned.

No yotes this morning but did come across the split ring that one broke awhile back it was about 60 yds from where he got out. Damn strong yote as these rings are pretty solid.

Holy crap that thing's straightened right out!! I've got mine doubled up on my foot holds (but then again they aren't out so what does it matter LOL). Looks like a good reason!!

Had a great day checking snares today had 2 males and one female on my bowhunting farm and I just set 4 more snares there Monday and caught these in them today I saw where their were a lot of tracks in the mud on some trails so set them and had a great catch today . They were all furred really nice also. That is 8 I have taken off of this farm so far. Hope to catch a few more females as so far it is 7 males and 1 female off of this farm one was a bow kill. That is 15 males and 5 females so far.

Also had a coon today and used the catch pole to release him. Little bandit was thirsty after I let him go.
