The On batch has onion. She did some without so she doesn't hate me. She also did the rest of the jalapeños she had. Then she took what was left and added some chicken that has been simmering for a few hours. That will go on nachos here after a bit.
Brought a bunch of apples from OH, giving them away in goodie bags and eating them didnt reduce them enough about a dozen or so strated to spot/go. I got busy this AM and put up 21# of apples.
Did the rookie mistake and didnt find my food mill before I needed it.. of course, couldn't find it. Fine strainers won't work. Thought about what would work and repurposed the sifter.

Went into it, it has a pinkish/darker hue as I blend the skins with the flesh for the added pectin and other nutrients. In 21# i used 1/2 tbls of lemon juice and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon.
