I liked that the 3.0 doesn't need a stupid memory card. I've had enough issues with the class 10 card that I was happy to not have to have one. Wife was with me and insisted I got as many as I wanted. That free pass doesn't come around very often.

I've never used the video mode so it doesn't bother me. Just figured I'd share for others that might be interested.
My 3.0 Pros need that update thats supposedly coming.... Temps, GPS and send times remain out of whack, They seem much more apt to false trigger with non-animal motion too.
I wish TC would allow you to have different plans under one acct too. When running multiple cams that Pro plan is pricey when only needed for a fraction of them.

On that note, there's quite a few 4 k solar cell "live view " cams out there that no one is talking about. It would be fun as fuck & fairly cheap but the monthly plans would be cost prohibitive for most ....
I have one of those cameras, and they're okay. You'll discover that the gears inside of them that moves the camera approximately 300 degrees will eventually fail, at least that's what mine did. I left it up all year around and I think the brutal winter conditions messed it up, but it still takes pix if pointed directly in the direction you want it. I did purchase some quality cameras of that type, different manufacturer, with 4k HD capability, and they seem to be doing much better than the one you shared, but they haven't been through a winter yet either.

Just picked up two of the Moultrie Edge 2 cell cams on sale for $99 total. I've seen/heard a lot of great things about them and two cams for $100 has always been a good deal, especially when they're cell cams. All the companies have easy to use apps and setup now, where they separate themselves for me, is trigger speed and picture quality. The guys that love these Moultries, love the videos, so that's my plan with them. I have never used my Reveals and SpyPoints on video mode, so I'm excited to see how this works. Not needing an SD card is a bonus, and the ability to access multiple networks is also great (soon to be an industry-wide feature I'm sure). Bout to take a monthly hit when I turn all these things on
I'm impressed. I set them up to run on Pic + Video mode. It sends a pic, then you request a video and it'll send at the next trigger. I got one to work in the creek bottom at our farm, which is unheard of. This one is behind my house where I've had mixed luck with cell cams. These run like a top in those tight cell windows because of the 4 carrier option, and the video quality is great!

Glad to hear it. I bought two recently because of a deer video I saw posted on a Pennsylvania Facebook page. The video was the best I’ve ever seen. When my Spartan and tacticams stop working, they’re getting replaced with these. Nice to get a great review from someone I know.
I've always liked the Moultrie video quality. I don't know why after all these years that Moultrie still makes you wait until the next activation to recieve a requested video.
Hard to get anywhere on our farm and not get your picture taken and it made for an interesting evening last night. While eating dinner, I got the series of 3 pics below of a guy walking through the main entrance to the farm, through the Corner Pocket, and down through a food plot in the bottom (I have the video of him down there). I felt like the guy was on a mission and as it turned out, I was right!
Not 5 minutes after posting on social media to try and get a lead on who it was, I got a call from a local Sheriff's officer that I know who saw my post on IG. My trespasser turned out to be their fugitive!
It's rumored he told them he'd "shoot anyone with a badge" and now I'm thinking I need to carry in the stand more often!
