Better than working! Great update man. Did you have much trouble not deflating that 8?

It was very tempting, especially with all the shots he offered. I swear I killed him 100 times in my mind. But, I've tried to set a goal for myself to kill something equal to or better than the ones on my wall. Plus, knowing there are a few bigger ones around I figured I'd wait.
Trust me though, my trigger finger is getting itchy.

I'm on stand now at the ridge. I realized I forgot to update my totals after yesterday. Hopefully I add to them tonight. Pretty warm right now.
My dad has Klay in a blind above me about 150 yards away on the upper saddle.

However, I'm sure I'll end up out tomorrow. It's just tough getting someone to watch my kids everyday after they get home from school. I start feeling guilty dumping them on someone. My wife don't get home til 6 everyday. That sucks!

Im in the same boat buddy. I love the evenings but my kids get off the bus at 2:30 and the wifey dont get home till after 5.

Same situation but I have to go pick our girls up at school everyday at 2:30 because of a failed school levy. Wife gets home between 6&7 and I leave for work at 5. Girls are 12&14, I help the 12 with her homework and make supper before leaving. IOW's, my evenings are shot till the weekends.

Just sat down in the east side stand. Trying to bounce around so I don't pressure too much. Jumped a small buck on the way in.
There is a road below me and a tree cutting service is hard at work. Love the sounds of chainsaws and mulching. Fugg!!!! There is zero breeze and it's dry. I should be able to hear walking from miles away, but I hear machines instead.
