Hulu does live sports @Dustinb80

This month makes our two year contract up with Dish. They can come get this shit, I’m out and looking at other options. I remembered this thread and figured I’d reread and bump it.

Have they found a suitable means yet for someone like me that lives in a 1/4 mile deep in the woods and has an internet data restricted plan with Hughes Net?

I have this same issue that I’m a 1/4 mile deep and restricted to satellite. We ditched Hughes and went with Frontier. Much better unless it’s after 9 PM for some reason. This is why we’re looking at a streaming idea. (Reminds me that I should have the Wife call them about the reason it slows down at night)

More people clogging it up I’d imagine

If it wasn't for the wife and kid, I'd ditch the damn TV. Ain't nobody got time for that.

We ditched ours about 6 months ago. I bought a decent digital antenna from Wally World and we get quite a few of the network channels. We also have Hulu and Netflix. Saves alot of money per month. For sports I have found on reddit I can pretty much get free live streaming of any hockey or baseball game.

I'd rather just pitch all the TV's. My Samsung in the bedroom took a shit a couple weeks ago, it ain't getting replaced.

I couldn’t do that TC. I need a TV to get lost in and not deal with my own thoughts. Take me out of my head from time to time and give my thinker a break. Keeps me from going crazier!

Oddly, I can watch the same movie over and over and barely remember it. So to say I get lost in it, really is true.
