Deer sniffing the camera ?

I down loaded the pic's from one of my trail cameras today
Got the normal deer , coon , tree rat and birds

But I also got this pic
Any idea what it is ?

I am thinking it might be a deer sniffing the camera

Looks like an eyeball to me, but what animal I'm just not sure.

Depending how high off the ground the camera is I'd say it would almost have too say it's a doe....

I think the flashing red light gets their attention. I have several pics like that where they are eye to eye with the lens.

Well , very soon I will get the paperwork returned for crop damage
And I will thin the darn things out bigtime again

Every few years I put a world class hurting on them as the ears of corn form
