All we eat is homegrown pork. We just had one butchered a couple months ago that was raised at my in-laws.If anyone was ever interested in buying a hog to slaughter, this would be a great time to try it. They aren't worth much at the market right now. You could get one for a couple dollars over butchering cost. Call your local butcher! Not a bad way to spend some of that tax return...
Owner won't let me... I think that's why this ones effecting me. I usually just walk in and do the deed.
Kinda curious - not really my business, but... why wouldn't she let you? seems like a no-brainer if the animal can't be saved and is just suffering at that point.
