Looks very close! The type that grows here at my place has purple every place it branches. I can’t see that in your pic and it looks small. Could just be how it grows in your area. Same leaf and flower.View attachment 84640 this it?
Just because of ur post I'll end up with poison ivy, thanks! From what I’m reading, that purple doesn’t mean a thing. Maybe it’s some mineral I have here at the house that makes them turn color and much larger than average.
I’m glad we could help you identify some!
I’ve just introduced you to something that’ll make you not mind it at all. Feel the itch and the bumps? Just apply and forget about it.Just because of ur post I'll end up with poison ivy, thanks!
I am glad I was able to help! The stuff is amazing and is really great for kids. Not much worse than a sick or itchy kid.
I believe the key to using this method is more so in the drying part rather than the soap. Getting the oil off requires a "hard dry". Drying off aggressively with a towel and then catching said towel on fire. I'd also recommend showering in cold water instead of hot water as to not open skin pores. If you get into to ivy or oak heavily, I wouldn't put the towel in the wash. Might just be me, but I get that shit by looking at it.Here is another option if you know you were in poison ivy. As soon as you can get in the shower and use Dawn Dish Soap, scrub the areas aggressively, dry off and don't use the wash cloth or towel until you wash them. The Dawn Dish soap cuts the oils from the poison ivy. It works, I have used it when I did not have silver weed.
