Doggone good dog thread

Great pics Jim. I love dogs. Except when it is heartworm pill time. Before you ask, I've tried the treats, peanut butter, etc. Most effective is still stuffing my hand halfway down their throats. Ugh. Just delivered two of them to our dogs. Along with the yogurt for Hank's heinous gas issues. I used to think boxers were bad. Then Hank moved into the house with his crop dusting excursions.

Lol. Been there done that. But nowadays they offer most of the meds in beef-flavored chewables. There's no fighting... It's like a treat for the dog. I give Betty Nexgard for fleas and ticks, and Sentinel for heartworms and other parasites. Both are in chewable form. She absolutely loves them.

Thanks guys. She's a lot of fun. One heck of a bird dog but honestly I think the biggest enjoyment I get from her is seeing how much my wife loves her. She was never a dog person before we got Betty. She's done a total 180 since then.
