Well...my good dog is a bad dog today. Fat bastard ate all my kids Halloween candy last night. Tanner Boy gets to spend the day in the kennel, been many many years since I've had to do this. I'll let him out to shit when he start whining.

Damn, hopefully it doesn't make him real sick.

He seems alright. He musta ate a couple pounds of candy. Kids were not happy with him. Still not sure how he opened all those wrappers. I was gonna get a picture, but my wife wasn't having it. The floor was COVERED in candy wrappers. We left for about 6.5 hours and we didn't have any messes to clean up. (Which really surprised me)

Ahhh heck yea! I forgot about this thread!

I was going through photos and backing things up last week... While they're still fresh in my head, here are a some pics of Betty throughout this past fall. She just turned 4 years old in December. Sitting on 343 career hunting retrieves so far. I've learned so many things over the last 4 years of working with this dog. If all my dogs from here on out possess only half of the talent that Betty has I will be one happy man.

Jim, once she hits 5-6 you'd be wise too start looking at studs and getting a pup outta her....
I was hoping for it to happen sooner actually. My plan was for her to get bred this spring, her next heat cycle. But now with the little one on the way I don't know if that's going to be feasible. Might be too much to handle at one time.

Yeah, I'd wait a little, maybe two more cycles... But not too long where Betty can't mentor her daughter effectively....
