Kristi and I put our two 14 year old girls down today. Maggie was a black standard poodle and my Jazz was a Boykin Spaniel. It was past time and they both lived good lives.

Man that’s tough. Losing a dog is like losing a family member in my eyes. I’m sure you gave them the best life that any dog could want. It’s never a easy decision to do and sounds like you did the right thing.

I just made the call. I have to let go. Bella's been struggling to get up our front steps, which are the easiest. Last night Greyson cried cuz he had to carry her up them after letting her out. I had to do it a couple times too. She"s got some big tumors on her as well. We'll go in together on Monday morning. She's been here with us for 14 years, letting us know when anyone was coming. We're gonna spoil the shit out of her this weekend.

Sorry to hear this Big H and Redhunter. It hurts like hell to let them go but it’s the price we pay for unconditional love. Three years ago we had to put down Sassy...I still get teary eyed when I see a picture of her.
