Vet called today and said he believes Cass has turned the corner. She is finally eating and drinking every time they put it in front of her. She is wagging her tail and gets up when someone approaches her. She was very detached and lethargic until this morning. Her blood count is rising too. Internal bleeding is still a high risk and he is going to keep her under medical care for a little longer. She may be ready to come home this weekend. He sent my wife a video of her from this morning. I teared up when I watched it. I hope the worst is over. Thanks for all of the support.
Free to ANY home, far far away...one slightly used neighbor's Brittany..... sibling included...if I can catch it...

The wife is going to go pick up Cassidy today. The vet said she is doing well but is far from being out of the woods. She still has regurgitation issues and has pneumonia. He said sometimes just being home will improve a dogs health so we decided to go get her. If she declines, we can always run her back up there.
