Donation deer hunt Saturday evening

Saturday night my buddy is hosting a donation hunt on hs farm. There will be several hunters on a large farm Saturday evening. Any deer killed will be donated to any number of local families in need. I'm hoping my 12 year old son and I can hunt together. This would be his first "archery" hunt.

I bumped a non-shooter on the way in. Nice deer but kust a basket rack 6 or even an 8. I've settled but the wind is swirling. Wish me luck.

Had 14 different animals between 40 and 100 yards from me today. I'm not comfortable shooting 40 or above so I just watched. They really are.afraid of thier own shadows. The two bucks I saw were not shooters. Awesome start to the archery season.
