Almost all of my friends lost their sons from the ages of 16-18 from hunting...they were too busy chasing the two legged whitetail. After high school and either finding a job or going to college, they would get back into it. Bastards were like 1 1/2 year old bucks in rut.

Finally got a chance to listen to this while driving from Columbus to Marysville and back today. I don’t remember the drive . Excellent stuff, fellas! It’s always very evident when there is rapport and a genuine relationship between host and guest. That was very clearly displayed here. Keep up the good work

Great points at the end about being diversified when hunting/fishing with the kids. I tried my best even to do that with mine. All 3 of you are entering a great time period of your life with hunting/fishing with the kids. Mine is sadly coming to a close as far as the mentor part, but it is fun to see them go on their own as well. We made alot of mistakes, but both the kids and I learned from those experiences. Most importantly we had alot of fun.
