Thank you, J, but I don't think I can take much credit. On the second one, he waited forever for her to get into a position to shoot with the young ones standing broadside. He did not want to kill another fawn, and refused to shoot. Finally the big doe made it to the top of the ridge and was broadside with a fawn standing between her and us. I told him to shoot the doe...he said "NO!" because there was a very slight risk of shooting WAY low and accidentally hitting the young one. Finally the fawn moved off, and he continued to wait patiently for the doe to turn just a little more before shooting. Dang! I just wouln't have had that kinda of patience at his age...or even when I was 20! You always wish your kids to be "better" than you are, and I think he will be! Proud dad here, sorry for going on...
