I like a lot of author Michael Pollan's advice in his book Food Rules. One is don't eat anything that has ingredients your grandma wouldn't recognize, and the other is not to eat anything with ingredients you can't pronounce or spell. He's big on eating plants more than meat, but his book Omnivore's Dilemma is a great read.
 
Pretty much my dinner tonight (again). Had a ball game for Kaydence. Ate cheese and jerky on the way down, then a big ass pickled from the concession stand. Got enough jerky to get me home. Had 3 pieces of pork loin for lunch at Rotary today, which is always a tough time for me to eat clean because the place that caters our lunches, doesn't offer much in terms of clean eating. Good start to the week!
 
I’m 4 days in of eating better as well as balanced - no junk and no eating after 8pm. Also been working out even if it’s getting on the treadmill for 30 minutes a night. Feeling better already and the hardest part for me is to continue this - hoping this thread helps so I can track. Keep up the work boys!
 
I bought a yougurt maker so I could ferment L. reuteri. Look up the health benefits. You can use a sous vide to make it as well. 100 degrees for 36 hours. Tastes great with blueberries and zero fillers when using organic half and half.

I can't do the texture. A buddy of mine told me about doing an ice cream out of it. I would have to try it before taking the plunge.

Right, and I can't do thick drinks or soft foods. Never have been able to drink a smoothie or eat mashed potatoes by themselves. I love the taste of bananas too and can't have more than a tiny bite. Texture thing. Born to eat meat off a bone.
