Food, what are you eating?

Getting back on track with another 24 hour fast(everyday this week since 48’er on Tuesday) and waiting for 6pm to get here with ribs in oven warming up. Even got Tam to join me fasting 24 this week. Just eating supper in a .75-1 hour window and shutting it down till 6p next evening.

We took stew meat and made a beef and noodle meal. I skipped the noodles but I did have a healthy buckets worth of sweet peas!

Breakfast for dinner. I will make the kids protein pancakes, eggs and bacon. Unsure if I will eat any pancake yet. Another 15 minutes and I will snack on some sea salted mixed nuts.

Yes, salty nuts to go with my meat off a bone!

Trying like hell to get out of this “holiday free for all” eating regime. For some reason it feels more difficult this time around than it did last year. Last night I had sauerkraut and kielbasa for dinner. And this morning I had venison chorizo sausage with 3 eggs. I’d like to go 3-5 days of consistent clean eating, and then I’ll drop into a 72-hr fast. I’m hoping that’ll be the reset I need to get my mind and my willpower back in line.

This is exactly why I go in as dedicated as I can. Breaking that mental part is the hardest. Once that is done, food seems like a reward and the poisonous edibles are just that.

I also agree that this time has been harder. I think it is because of the mental game of knowing. Gotta want it. GOTTA REALLY WANT IT!!!! That is how you win. Let's go, almost one week down fellas. (If you started on Monday like I did)

The biggest victory for m this week was a total of 5 beers. That was my nightly intake in November and December, which is not normal for me, but was what it was. I did have a couple bourbon drinks, but the funny think about brown water is one is plenty. I never feel the compulsion to slam bourbon or whiskey like I do beer. I feel like I'm in a great spot mentally when it comes to cutting out beer (mostly) and that will help me as much as anything else.

We had pizza last night and it was worth it. I fasted all day and burnt a bunch of calories. Pizza is the one food I refuse to give up, but I have to earn it if I'm going to stay committed to the plan. I'm paying the price today after dump #5, but at least I know it's already out of my system 😂
