I drink water, coffee or beer steadily till it’s gone then put cup up or bottle in recycling can and I’m done till next urge. Wife likes to sip, forget where she put it, reheat in microwave and forget it, open door then shut to reheat again maybe sip and reheat or forgets again then repeat. Lmao

I’m pretty disappointed in myself over past 3 weeks as I’m back to starting point 228ish. Gained nearly 15 pounds back thanks to too much carbs, sweets and beers in the house. I hate wasting stuff we bought for hosting hence my overeating this stretch. Inflammation has spiked and BM’s plentiful. It’s time to start getting back to intermittent dieting and avoiding the carbs. I need to say F it and go through our two fridges and start pitching stuff is what I need to do but it’s tough throwing money away. 🙄

I think the biggest gain here is what we are all learning from another. We know what it is and how to fix it. I also think those of us that have tried this (even if temporary) have learned alot about ourselves. Every time you set yourself back, you know exactly what you did to make yourself feel that way. Want vs reward is very powerful in this situation. Easy hurts. Both being huge motivational peices that gain more traction and want with every fail/setback. Don't beat yourself up. Improvement with the gained knowledge and press forward. The past was yesterday and you know how that turned out already. Worry about the now and today. 👍🏾

Throwing away good food does not happen in this house. Few things bother me more than wasting food, and people who throw away or refuse to eat perfectly good leftovers for whatever reason bother me, too. When I got Nancy on board with sugar free/low carb eating we went through the pantry, fridges and freezers. Was painful, but not really too much went to the trash. There are some things lingering like unopened non-perishable stuff that we can give away or donate to local food bank. Still have some stuff I'm just going to just suffer through eating instead of pitching like frozen potstickers and Hagen Daas ice cream bars. :geek: We just won't buy that stuff again, theoretically,;)

I've always been a water drinker. I chug 32oz first thing every morning. I drink 48oz over the course of the day with all my additives on it. I call it Swamp Water. It has collagen power, creatine, BCAAs and electrolytes, prebiotics and probiotics, and a scoop of greens mix, giving it a distinct swamp water look. When I'm in the office, I'll easily drink another 32-64oz there. Add in 32oz of coffee everyday and I piss frequently 😂

I start with 26 ounces when I get uo to piss at 0300-0400 every morning. Drink 24-48 ounces of coffee and then drink 12-15, 16 ounces bottles of water with a pinch of Celtics salt in about half of them. Then at least 2 more 26 ounce cups when I get home. @Mike how about you?

I'm with you @giles in when I drink i drink fast. 24-32oz gone in one or two drinks.

However with my job, I slowly (or not depending on caffeine intake) dehydrate myself during the day. I can't easily make restroom breaks to stay hydrated. Then once I get home I try to hammer fluid until before bedtime. Go to bed wake up with a bladder needing to be emptied and start allover.

I’m sure everyone is different. I drink 24-30 ounces between the time I wake up and the time I leave for work. Pinch of Celtic salt added. Then I’ll have 24-36 ounces of coffee throughout the day. Salt, Vitamins D3 and K2, and some kerrygold butter added to the coffee. I usually piss for the third time by about 10:00 am or so. Maybe 2-4 more glasses of water between leaving work and going to bed. Not a crazy amount of water, but I piss frequently and it’s usually clear to almost clear. I think the added salt really helps the hydration because I feel like I’m more hydrated than ever, even though I’ve drank more water before in the past.

Spent some time yesterday getting my mindset squared away for a disciplined run on carnivore. Found a new IG account called @Carnivorish that had some great meal and snack ideas, with many falling on the keto side of the line, which is alright by me. Tracie is along for the ride and that will help tremendously compared to the last time I did this. The goal is to follow strict carnivore for 30 days, then follow keto like I used to do. Today starts a 48-hour fast to kick things off, so I'm eating nothing!

You can do it!!! It honestly gets easier to say No the longer you follow this WOE. Neither Kristi nor I have intentionally strayed since we started. We got blindsided by some breaded wings one time and know to ask now.
