Fullbore and Finelsheddeds shed hunting adventures of 2016

Karissa and I walked out asses off today and were able to find 2 sheds, one a mate to the small one K found last weekend and an old chewed up one. The mate of the small one was found at least 3/4 of a mile from the other one.

Pulled some cards today. Had a small buck hitting a scrape and pissing in it on the 5th of March and a doe standing on her hind legs smelling the licking branch the next day!

I have noticed does on hind quarters in the last couple weeks as well checking licking branches. I think this is one of those unique scent checking areas that is checked year round. Do you think some of the scent checking has nothing to do with rut activity here Ric, or is it possible there is a doe on a funky cycle?
Nice job Ric! So how close are we to each other? I'd like to go shed hunting a property I have, just can't find the motivation to go by myself.
Don't know Phil but this little 6 point marked the limbs well with his forehead then pissed like it was Oct/Nov! The doe was acting crazy as well!
If seen several bucks of different sizes still packing both sides as well! The honeysuckle is well on its way and will be all leafed up in no time if it stays this dang warm....fugg you green up!!!!! Lol

Don't know Dave, I reckon about 45 min to an hour maybe! I think it's still early, maybe we can go look in April some time! Then we'll know most are down by then! Lol

We are Mike but she chose to hang with her mom and sis today but when she got home she realized she screwed up! She really studied them when she got home but what I find is hers or Shelbys if she wants them so it's still a win win! LOL
Oh, it's crazy and there's absolutely no scientific fact behind it other than sheer coincidence but all but 2 are right sides! 9 rights and 2 lefties so far.
