Clay - you think like many of us here...let the data tell the story. Unfortunately, it isn't a very pretty story for many hunters (not all, but many).

Still plenty of bucks with one thing on their mind. I'm sure it could be effective in right circumstance.

Given the wrong circumstances, you could call in more hunters then anything else, and that could end badly.

Well I am on private land so we would have some problems for sure.

4:07 on the second day I heard a shot or a dump truck banging his tailgate but I'm calling it a shot lol

Well I think didn't happen but did take a shot at a decent 9 gonna wait till dark to look and see took off running tail waving bye it was in this thicket

Hunted opener all day and this morning and didn't see a thing in western Coshocton County. By far worst gun opener on our property in 40 years, also the fewest amount of shots heard. Can't believe how decimated the herd has become. Didn't even get any good bucks on cam this year. Last year I only saw 1 on gun opener, which I shot. 2 years ago I saw over 20. I think the liberal bag limits and, oh yeah, the amish moving in the last 5 years have totally wrecked the deer in our area.

Really need to plan ahead better for ground hunting. Garrett and I are having fun but I need some more spots ready to go prior to us getting here. Spot we are now would be perfect for a blind.

Didn't hunt today but on the way home deer were hanging out in the fields before dark.

In PA tonight with the youngest daughter we saw 3 small buck and 3 doe. Couldn't get a clear shot at any of the buck.

It sure did feel good. I had high hopes. Didn't see a deer. Had my son in the gunner seat. Have pics of a big 6pt I'd love to see him shoot on Nov 25/27 just before dark, but not tonight.
