32 golden buff (red sex link) beauties from Meyer Poultry. All alive and in good health upon delivery. Ordered 30 and got 2 bonus chicks. Gotta love it. My brooder should be large enough to hold them until they’re ready to go outdoors with my other birds. Concrete floor and I flex-sealed all the corners to help mitigate moisture transfer.

I was planning on stopping by Tractor Supply on the way home today and pick up 10 chicks, That's not going to happen, the 2 stores I called both sold out of 400+ chicks each in one day, they had some ducks and meat birds left. Crazy times.

We're back in business. Left central Missouri late Wednesday afternoon and arrived in my zip at 6:30A. All seem lively, so fingers crossed for 100% survival. Ended up with an extra buff orpington and an extra blue laced red wyandotte. These will eventually merge with 4 barred rocks, 2 french coppers, and a lone golden laced wyandotte. I've got 4-6 weeks to get serious about redoing my chicken coop!
