Ah man sorry it didn't work out in your favor. I was checking in on this thread all day hoping to see a hero pic posted. It happens, I've done it before.

Sorry to hear you didn't recover the deer. Get out there and get another one. I'm in Hamilton but was up North in Lima setup at a gunshow or I could have come over and helped look.

I agree that it is a painful and valuable lesson, however, it isn't limited to "bow hunting"...
