Exciting Clay and looking good. I hope the weather cooperates and the build goes up without a hitch. Please keep this thread updated!
Got the area for the house cleared, now if it will stop raining so they can do the septic field.
My brother in law did some renderings of our house, they look cool

Limit your steps as much as possible. 36" wide doorways internally? Easier to maneuver your wheelchair around.
Everything for me and the misses is on the first floor, where feasible the doors are 36”. This one is built with being old in mind.

Reinforce the wall studs behind the showers/bathtubs and around toilets for grab bars. Extra high toilets too.
I appreciate my setup already while using the facilities in the middle of the night.

No doubt. Chatted with a buddy last night who may need a new hip. We are in our 40's. Both avid outdoorsmen. At one point I said "dude, you realize in 10 years this whole conversation is going to be about our ailments with 5 min hunt/fish talk?" Lol

Do it right the first time. I did.
Wish my shower was a little bigger for 2-3 but there's room to expand later.
Finally some movement. The basement was dug today, stone and drainage going down Friday, walls to be set next Wednesday
